Procedure (39-55 minutes)
Ss look at the pictures of strange houses. Ss disscuss about the pictures.
T elicits the key vocabulary through pictures. CCQs: Where do I sleep? ( in the bedroom) Where do I eat ? ( in the kitchen) Where do I watch tv? ( in the livingroom) Where do I have a shower? ( in the bathroom) Which one is in the bathroom, a cooker or washbasin? Which one is in the livingroom, a fridge or an armchair?
T changes location of the tv. ( on the lamp, in the fridge, under the sofa, next to the toilet) CCQs: Is the tv on the fridge or in the fridge?(In) Is the tv under the lamp? ( No, under the sofa) Is the tv next to the fridge? (No, next to the toilet)
T writes sentences on the WB and underlines prepositions of place.
T provides drilling and highlights sentence stress.
Ss choose the card and locate the furniture on WB according to the instruction. ( The fridge is under the sofa..)
