Main Aims

Warmer/Lead-in (4-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I'll start the discussion by asking the students "Do you like to travel?" and "What kind of trip do you like?" and we continue with their last travel experience or their best travel experience.Now they have to try use the sentences in past tense and also they must use the adjectives they learned at the beginning of the unit.They have to share their ideas first with their partner,then they will be asked to discuss their ideas with the whole class.

Pre-Reading (3-5 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

Then I'll start showing them different images from different types of traveling and I will ask them to share their thoughts with the class and also tell the class which of the trips they prefer more.They have to describe every image with the adjectives they have learned at the beginning of the unit.

While-Reading #1 (4-5 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading tasks

Now the students have to read the the reading very fast to understand the text in whole.Then I will ask them to find the adjectives referring to describing the travel experience of each traveler.then they have to also highlight the sentences in simple past form.Then they will have to check their answers with their partner.

While-Reading #2 (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

Now the students will be asked to underline three sentences from activity A and use them in describing a travel experience,they have to speak with their partner then share their sentences with the whole class. In the second activity the students will be asked to match the different experiences the have read in page 80 with the personality of four different person and they have to explain why.Now they have go through the details of each part .then they have to compare their answers with their partner and then share their ideas with the whole class.

Post-Reading/Listening (4-5 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

Now the students have to choose one of the vocations in page 80 using the vocabularies they have learned and also if none of the trips suit them they can describe a trip that they would like to try.they have to speak in groups explaining why they have chosen this vocation and discuss their answers.
