in this lesson Ss will learn how to use 'will' structure for the purpose future with will, Affirmative, negative, Yes / No question and Wh question in context of leave and take message.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (1-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

show the picture on top of the page 28 and ask : who are they? , what are they doing ? what's the women wearing on her head? . then in pair ask them to talk about it.

Exposure (5-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Play track 03 and ask Ss to read and listen.(just sit down) after that elicit the meaning of 'to ring = to call ' and ' is that all? = is that everything ?' then play track 05 and ask the Ss to listen and repeat in the pauses then ask ; what's the name of caller ? (Tim Klein) , who is calling ? (Anne smith) , what message does he leaved for her ? (I'll meet her at the hotel at 3)

Clarification (2-3 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Ask students to help me list some things that they think will definitely happen over the coming week. Start with some answers of my own (School will end at 3.30 today. School will be closed on Sunday. The sun will rise tomorrow morning). Once they are clear how to form sentences, get more ideas from the class. with time line I can clarifying the meaning and then CCQ is that now or future? (future) is that a definite plan? (yes 100%) Form ; sub + will + base form of the verb 'll negative ; will not = won't will + sub + verb + ... ? wh + will +... ? pronunciation ; will /wil/ I'll call back later.

Controlled Practice (2-3 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Ask them make the same conversation in pair and after that give feedback

Semi-Controlled Practice (2-3 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Give them some hand out and ask Ss to fill the blank demonstrate one with one of the Ss. then put then in pair and ask them to check their answer. finally give feedback

Free Practice (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Ask them to stand up stand back to back and in pair leave a message for one of their own friend. ICQ : what are we going to do ? monitoring and write note if necessary and try to change their role. and ask them to tell all their partner message.
