Procedure (21-31 minutes)
Tr. gives students handout with 2 questions and have them work in grroups and discuss them.
Tr. asks students to look at the pictures and the caption and asks them some questions to be sure that the students understand the situation .
Tr. asks students to read the first half of Barbra's email and locate the relevant information. Have them compare the answer with their partner . Feedback : Check WC
Tr. tells students that they have to organize a weekend away for a group of friends to celebrate a birthday . have them work inpairs and circle one or two important points to tell your friends.
Tr. asks students to discuss their ideas with their groups . Have them work in pairs and write an email . Feedback: Have ss exchange emails with different partner and talk about the plans to gether .
