Procedure

Lead-in (5-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Instructions: When did you leave home? ICQs: Discuss the different ages for 2 minutes. Task: Speak with your partner Pair Check: N/A Feedback: Partners tell each others age they left home

Pre-Teach Vocabulary (10-10 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible and to teach any blocking vocabulary

Detail Listening (10-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed listening task

Instructions: Listen to the text, answer the T/F questions and correct the false questions ICQs: Do you need to write long answers? What are you going to do the False Questions?
