(demonstrate talking on the phone) Drill that it is not talk in the phone or of the phone! Write it on the board. When they say yoga, tell them the verb we use with yoga is ''do''. Ask them If they know the woman's name. Yes it is here, her name is Agata. What does Agata want to do? Could you repeat that please? Here is the answer: She wants to do yoga. Hold your ear to show them you want to hear the same sentence from them. And ask the question to check if they remember or not. Show them the form. This is a F-O-R-M. What is it? What form is it? Is it for an English course?

Listening (10-15 minutes) • To get specific information

''Now please listen carefully''. Use gestures and intonation. Don't write, just sit back and listen. Later you will write. Play the recording. Now look at the form. You have one minute and I will play the conversation again. Explain MR, MRS, Miss, Ms. Write them on the board and also the explanations shortly. MR: for man MRS: Married woman Miss: unmarried woman and MS: we don't know married or unmarried. Explain name and surname. Tell them your own name and surname. Address-what is the address of the course? (it is here show them the right top of the form) Don't explain each category because they already know what it an address, postcode, telephone and e-mail. Those things are international and they are the same in the learners' first language. Nationality- Can you give me examples? If they can't, tell them : I am from Turkey. Turkey is my country. I am Turkish. This is my nationality. I speak Turkish, this is my language. So question: I am from the USA. Am I Americanish? HAHA I am A------, remain silent and let them complete the word. I speak (hand gesture) E----------. Perfect! I am from Germany, What nationality am I? Am I British? Allright, now I will play the conversation again and this time you will write, you will fill in the gaps in the form. Play the recording. Did you write? Check how they did and play the recording for the last time and pause after one or two gaps, let them tell it loud.
