T then introduces the vocabulary from ex. 1 by writing them to the board and asking Sts if they think it has a positive or negative meaning. After that T elicits the meaning of the new vocabulary and if the students don't know the meaning she provides a definition by using an example relevant to her Sts. T also focuses on the pronunciations of the words when she gives the meaning.
