Getting Connected Lesson
B2-Intermediate level

Description

In this lesson, the SS will be developing their Listening and Speaking skills. At the very beginning of the lesson, to warm up and to introduce the topic the SS will comment on the realia that I have brought to class and also will tell which one they like/dislike in pairs. The lesson will followed by a long listening task which is about how to communicate with people in the future.Via this task, SS will have the opportunity to improve their receptive skill. What is more, they will see how to use the new vocabulary while listening the discussion. After that, they will learn how to make predictions by using the future time markers such as "in the near future", "in the next ten years", in a month or two , "in the long term", "in the short term", " in ten years' time ", "a long time from now" , "next year" , "shortly"…etc. During the class they will have many exercises and also demonstrate their awareness of the "Technology" by having conversation in pairs and groupings. While finishing the lesson, they will have a final conversation about their own future predictions and this time they will be improving their productive skill. Finally, if the time allows I will try to make some error corrections.
