TEACHING PRACTISE 1
INTERMEDIATE level

Description

Teaching practise 1 is mainly focusing on speaking, and the sub aim is listening. The lesson starts with a discussion on a couple of pictures that will be leading to the listening 2.7. Some vocabulary will be pre- taught before playing the listening 2.7, and than ss will be ordering the pictures, and picking up the sequencers they hear. Ss will be given some exercises, and than practise a dialogue focusing on intonation. Ss will be given some cards, and in pairs they will re-tell the story using sequencers. Finally, the lesson will end on a discussion about the story- if it is a true story or a lie, and the second listening exercise 2.8 will be played. An open class discussion will follow the final listening.
