Description

In this lesson, the sts learn to make WH Questions regarding daily life by using Present Simple Tense . They also speak and write Some question by elicitation.

Procedure

Warm up to Lead-in (4-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students through elicitation & pictures

After introduction ,To activate and create interest , teacher uses sts to ask 5 WH questions about the teacher .Teacher pastes some pictures. He asks the sts to ask about these daily life activities. Sts ask some questions about a doctor's ,an engineer's ,a horseman's life with interest. Through elicitation teacher instructs the sts to speak more in pair groups

Exposure Stage 02 (4-6 minutes) • To create accuracy & Practice

Teacher provides text based exercise to the sts. Makes pair groups and instructs the sts read the dialogue and complete with the the words in the box also discuss the the reasons a bit loud.. Teacher monitors the sts and receptive and productive skills. He also notes the sts mistakes for correction in FB session.

Stage 03 (7-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarification about productive tasks

Teacher re- groups the sts by changing partners, delivers them SF Bk pg no 53 Exercise 03 to make practice. Teacher monitors them. For semi controlled practice, teacher gives them a handout to make and ask 8 WH questions to each other .

Productive Task(s) (6-8 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Teacher invites sts to use Wb one by one to write minimum 3 wh q For controlled productive practice.

FEED Back (5-6 minutes) • To check the sts performance and make correction

At the ending and very important stage,( teacher if time remains) trys to get feed back by asking some CQ about their daily life.Writes sts mistakes on WB and invites them focorrectionr
