Showing the pictures of the celebrities' who are in the handout and asking the students questions about them like if they know them or any movies they acted in. Clarification of the vocabulary that they might not know. (Reading 1 in the handout)
Cards are put at the backs of the students and they have to mill around the classroom asking questions to find out who they are. They can't ask questions like "Who am I?" or "What is my name?". Before they start, they are given instructions to use Simple Present Tense question forms.
Students work together to find the answers to the questions and report back to the class. To encourage them to scan the text for only the information that they need to answer the questions, a time limit can be imposed and the activity can be made as a race among the pairs. (Reading 2 in the handout)
Students read the information more carefully and answer the questions in the activity 3 of the handout. (Reading 3 in the handout)
Students try to complete the sentences without looking at the text as much as they can. Check the answers with the class. Divide the class into two groups and let them discuss the sentences they don't agree on. (Lexis 1 in the handout) And then, they will discuss on the answers. (Lexis 2 in the handout)
