Pre-Listening (6-7 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

Give HO1. Tell ss not to unfold the brochure. You may also teach the verb 'fold' or 'unfold' beforehand. Start 'Part 1'. SS read the text. Teacher creates a short speaking atmosphere and asks a few questions about the text.

While-Listening (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information with listening tasks

Make ss unfold the first page of the brochure. Tell ss about the video and as groups, give them some time to look at the tasks. Task 1: SS answer the questions. Task 2: SS fill the blanks with the information in the video. Ask some CCQs about the tasks. Start the video. Let ss watch it all. When it finishes, arrange the groups to check their own answers (2-3 minutes). Start the video again. This time, sometimes teacher may stop the video where there is an important information. These pauses do not have to be about the questions. What it finishes, let ss check their answers again. Give the answer as w/c. You may show some parts of the video again for the answers. If ss make comments on the video, teacher lets them do it for a 4-5 minutes as a w/c discussion.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the picture and expand on what they've learned

Before ss unfold 'Part 3', teachers asks; 'In which countries do you think that the internet is used most?' In this part, ss are supposed to make comments on the picture after they share their opinions. Tell ss that 'Part 4, 5 and 6' is just for fun. They can check them at home. Teacher may give a writing HW or project about these parts.
