Warmer (2-3 minutes) • To review vocabulary of previouse session

I will ask students what is the date today ? I will write on WB I will tell students April 5th is important for me because it's my birthday ,so what are you going to get me ? I will pre-teach get/buy/present.

Lead in (4-5 minutes) • Set the context by a clear picture and involve students by eliciting vocabulary of birthday

I will stick the picture of page 27 on WB , will ask " where is it ? , what are they doing ? , what are they talking about ? " so I will be able to involve and engage students to talk about the picture

Listen for details (10-15 minutes) • To provide detailed listening practice and set the context

I will write a question on WB " what Tanya and Simon decide to buy ? " and will ask them to guess the true answer .Students will listen twice because it is specific information . ICQ : Are you going to write a conversation ? ICQ : Are you going to take a note ? FB : check in pair FB : I will write the answers on WB Then they will listen again and fill the gaps . FB : check in pair FB : Role play

controlled practice (15-20 minutes) • To provide controlled spoken practice

I will stick a picture of Mike on WB and ask SS " what does he like ? what shall we buy him ? what is your suggestion? " I will pre - teach suggestion and write the phonetics on WB , I will write the structure of " suggestion" on WB .Then, I will put stress on words and have a drill .I will give them some HOs and ask them to complete the table. Then I will ask students to make a new conversation in pair . CCQs : Does he have a cat?no Does he need a tie ?yes Does he like a hat ?yes I will monitor them . FB : I will correct their sentences on WB
