Students work in groups to skim the short article to answer the question in exercise two in addition to a question provided by the teacher. The additional question will fall between the two parts of the question provided in exercise 2. The additional question is: What is Ozone? The teacher monitors group work and then gets feedback from whole class.

They teacher changes the students groups and asks them to check their answers. The teacher takes feedback and writes answers on the WB. The students guess which of the combinations will probably be done by Matt. Students listen to the recording to confirm guesses and check their answers in groups before they can listen again. The teacher gets feedback.
Students work in groups to answer questions in excercise 5. The teacher monitors and offers assistance as needed. The teacher encourages early finishers to expand the conversation by giving them further relevant questions.
