Description

In this lesson the students are going to learn how to make yes/no questions with have/has got and how to reply with short answers. therefore I am going to pair them up to let them work out the rule. When they did the exercise they are practice orally so as to use naturally and spontaneously.

Procedure

warmer (2-3 minutes) • to review what they learned: affermative or negative forms of have got

I am going to write incomplete sentences and by pointing at myself they must say what I have/haven't got

Introduction to grammar (2-3 minutes) • to elicit the question form of have got

students are going to pair up in order to fill in the blanks by putting a single word of have/has to get familiar with question form of have got and it's short answer.

controlled practice 1 (3-5 minutes) • giving fluency practice

they get back to task 9 where they listened to a recording about Bill and Sally so they can pair up to review the language orally

controlled practice 2 (3-4 minutes) • learning the correct form through writting

I distribute the copies of page 11 ex 5 which Ss should unscramble the sentences to understand the right order of question form of have got

oral practice of grammar through vocabulary (7-8 minutes) • to practice both grammer and vocabulary

practicing grammar with vocabulary of personal possession

finish up activity (8-10 minutes) • to make conversation with they learned

I am going to divide them in to two groups to ask and answer questions about the pictures so as to find out the differences
