T tires to understand whether Ss know the meanings of the words (concept check). If Ss can not put them in any category, it means that they do not know their meanings. If the Ss do not know the meaning of a word, she tries to explain or teach it through gestures or pictures. Ss may not know the meanings of 'indoor and outdoor', so T gives examples of some activities to teach them. CCQs: Do we play footbal at home? no It is an outdoor activity.
