In this lesson, the Ss will learn about the days of the week and how to use them effectively. They will learn how to use specific prepositions (in, on) with time expressions.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-8 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Begin class by asking students what their favorite day of the week and month is, encouraging them to use the prepositions "in" and "on" in their responses. Share interesting facts or anecdotes related to specific days of the week or months to set context and engage students.

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language.

Distribute a worksheet to assess students' prior knowledge of prepositions (in, on) used with days of the week and months. The test should include fill-in-the-blank related to the correct preposition usage. Collect the completed tests for evaluation.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage
