Procedure (33-44 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Show students the cards with the days of the week and say the days while standing on the board, students will look at the cards and repeat the days
Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible
play the song of the days of the week and ask the students to listen to the song and try to sing it
While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
ask students now to say the days on their own
Post-Reading/Listening (10-15 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
Ask the students to arrange the days of the week in order and practice the song of the days of the week
