Description

In the next lesson the students will understand, with the help of a body silhouette, the names of the different parts of the human being. First we will start with the head area, then we will continue with the torso and lastly the lower part.

Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

A song will be played where he points to the different parts of the body to dance in a group

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

The test to be carried out will be that on a sheet with a drawn body, the students write and point out the different parts of the body

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

To better learn the parts of the body, you begin to draw the parts individually with their respective names. At this point vocabulary, pronunciation and writing will be worked on

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

The test will be passed individually to the students, show an image and answer the name of the part shown

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Play "is this" which is based on saying a part of the body and pointing to it, whoever fails loses.
