Description

In this lesson, students learn their daily routine using many verbs that help them to describe their activities in an organized way. The class starts with storytelling to connect them with some verbs and words that They will use in the activities. Also, They learn how are the pronunciation in the third person and the variation at the end of the verb. Finally, students will be able to write their routine on Saturday.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- Teacher shows students a story about Bath time . - Students have to answer questions about the video.

Test #1 (0-3 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

- Teacher takes a brief quiz of 3 questions. - Teacher does not give students the correct answer.

MFP (0-17 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

MEANING (10 min) - The teacher shows a video about routine in the morning. - Teacher asks 3 questions about the video, the last is to know if some of them know some verbs used to describe daily actions. - The teacher gives students some examples of separate morning, afternoon, and evening routines. -Students do an activity where they have to match the picture with the right word. FORM ( 5 min) -The teacher explains the form of the sentence to describe a routine as well as the change of the verbs when We work in the third person. PRONUNCIATION( 2 min) - Students repeat the pronunciation of the verb when we work in the third person.

Test #2 (0-5 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

-The teacher give students 5 questions and they have to choose the correct answer to complete the answer.

Free practice (0-8 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

-Students have to create a list according they do on Saturday in the morning, afternoon, and evening. - Students work in pairs, one of them do the question, and the other answer it according to his/her list.
