Procedure

Warmer (7-8 minutes) • To liven up the students after a long day and start revise free time activities vocabulary

One S picks up a slip of paper with a free time activity phrase and makes a true sentences using a time expression. If this sentence is true for other Ss, they have to stand up and find another seat. A Ss in a teacher's chair takes a new slip of paper to start a new round.

Revision (2-3 minutes) • To consolidate Ss knowledge of free time set expressions

Ss match verbs and nouns to make free time activities.

Revision (8-10 minutes) • To revise expressions with have

Ss draw a bingo grid and write have + noun in random order. To cross a phrase they should make other Ss sat it by explaining this expression. Ss fill in the gaps. Then they check the answers with the whole class. Then the T demonstrates the 'Find someone who' activity in the open class. Ss do the mingling 'Find someone who' activity. If time, Ss can say one fact about one person they talked to.

Checking homework (7-10 minutes) • To check homework

Checking hw in an open class.

Presentation (3-4 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a sentence

T elicits some information about the teengers from the text Ss read in the previous lesson: Who's going to spend time with the family? Who's going to play a musical instrument? Who's going to look at photos? During the mingling activity T writes sentences from ex.1 on the board. Ss read the texts again to complete the examples in ex.1 at p.87. T highlights the target grammar and writes the rule on the board. Ss copy the rule into their planners. CCQs: Do we use 'one' instead of singular or plural nouns? Do we use 'ones' instead of singular or plural nouns? Can you use 'one/ones' together with the noun? Do we translate 'one/ones'?

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Ss complete fill in the gaps ex-s: SB p.87 ex.2, p.107 ex.1. Ss check the ex-s in pairs and in an open class.

Semi-Controlled Practice (5-7 minutes) • To concept check further and give students practice in using one/ones

T writes the model question and the model answer on the board: Do you like this/these ...? I absolutely love this/there one/ones. I'm not sure about this/these one/ones. T demonstrate the activity in the open class. Ss work in pairs and try to cross out as many clothing items as they can in 4 minutes. T monitors the activity and writes down the mistakes. When the activity is finished the mistakes are corrected in the open class.

Presentation (5-6 minutes) • To provide context for the target grammar

Ss read the texts again to complete the examples in ex.3 at p.87. T highlights the target grammar and writes the rule on the board. Ss copy the rule into their planners. CCQs: What part of the word do we use for people body, thing or where? Same with things and people. Do we write no one in 1 word or in 2 words? When the sentence is negative do we use no one or anyone?

Controlled practice (10-15 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Ss complete fill in the gaps ex-s: SB p.87 ex.4, p.107 ex.2. Ss play Blooket

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and give students speaking practice of indefinite pronouns

Ss complete the empty bubbles with the information from SB p.87 ex.5. Ss work in pairs and complete ex.6 with information in the bubbles which they colour when they guess.

Feedback and sets the homework (2-3 minutes) • To give students feedback on the lesson

T gives positive feedback and says the number of earned points. T sets the homework and explains it.

Error correction (2-4 minutes) • To correct mistake from the semi-controlled practice

T writes the mistakes on the board and Ss correct them in an open class.
