Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-T shows the ss a picture of the movie "طير انت ". -T asks the ss : Do you know that movie? -T will show the ss a video from the movie. -T tells the ss to guess what is the topic of today while watching. - The link to the video: https://youtu.be/-NC8NFH-2Ys From 1:20 to 2:50 - T asks the ss: What do you think? what is our topic for today? -T listens to the ss and their answers.

Test #1 (3-5 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

-T gives ss handout 1 and asks them to match the pictures with the words. -T tells the ss to do it alone and you have 3 minutes -T asks ICQS: will you do it alone or in pairs? how many minutes do you have? -T monitors and provides help if needed. -T asks Ss to check in pairs.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

-T elicits the answer from the students and highlights the MPF of these words: 1. coins 2. bank notes 3. change 4. credit card 5. receipt. 6. bill 7. cashpoint (cashpoint machine ) 8. foreign currency 9. exchange rate 10. purse 11. wallet

Test #2 (3-5 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

-T gives ss handout 2 and asks them to choose the right answer to complete the sentences. -T tells the ss to do it alone and they have 3 minutes. -T asks ICQs: Will you do it alone? How many minutes do you have? -T monitors very well and provides help if needed. -T asks ss to check their answers in pairs. -T provides them with the key answers on the PPP.

Free practice (7-12 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

-T gives the ss some questions to discuss in groups and you have 7 minutes. -T asks ICQs: Are you going to discuss in pairs or in groups? How many minutes do you have? -T tells the ss the communicative goal. Try to remember 1 thing about your group. -T gives the ss small colored papers. -T divides the ss according to the papers. -T gives the ss the handout that has the questions. -T monitors and takes notes of their mistakes. -T provides help when needed. -While speaking, T writes some correct and wrong sentences. -T gives content feedback by asking them: so what do you remember about your group? -T conducts language feedback. -- T writes some sentences from the notes and discusses them with the ss.
