Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Greet the students and ask them how they are feeling today. Write some verbs on the board (e.g., eat, play, run) and elicit their meanings from the students. Explain that today they will be learning how to describe ongoing actions using the present progressive tense.

Presentation: (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases
