TP6: Functions(Text-Based Framework)
Elementary level

Description

In this lesson, students learn how to ask for and give suggestions through a guided discovery on a reading text about a conversation at a restaurant. The lesson starts with a lead-in eliciting language about what they like to order in restaurants and how they would suggest appetizers/starters to share at their table. There is a guided practice to review/pre-teach vocabulary, followed by the presentation through the text. The lesson end with a role play acting out a dinner at a restaurant.
