Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- T shows them a picture of himself talking about some childhood memories and activities. - T asks Ss to do the same in pairs (What activities did you use to do in the past? / What was the most exciting one? Why?) ICQs: a. Will you do this while sitting down? No b. Should you talk to 1 person only? No, as many as you can. - T monitors Ss - T takes content feedback.

Exposure (5-7 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

- T sets the context of the task (it's a song). - T pre-teaches the challenging words. - Ss check individually. - Ss check in pairs. - T starts WC feedback. - T explains the challenging words and drills them.

Highlighting (7-9 minutes) • To highlight the TL in the context.

- T asks the students to listen to the song and match the verbs to the lyrics. - T gives them time to read the lyrics before listening. - T gives instructions. - T plays the song. - Ss listen to the song and fill the gaps. - T monitors the Ss - Ss start peer checking. - T shows them the answers - T starts content feedback.
