Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T greets SS and does some small talk until either two SS arrive or 2 minutes have passed. T talks with SS about anything interesting they have been doing. T gives an example using the TL (present perfect progressive)

Presentation (7-10 minutes) • Give a quick regresher of the TL to the SS

T uses PP slides to quicly present the TL to the SS (TL being present perfect progressive) T elicits the Meaning and Form of the TL T shows examples with the TL T answers any questions or doubts SS might have

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

T uses a kahoot to let SS work with the TL in a dynamic and controlled manner SS answer the kahoot while the teacher gives feedback to every question

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

T shares a Quizziz link with SS SS join the Quizziz and answer it T waits for SS to finish and then performs OCFB (Open Class Feedback)

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T asks SS to write 5 sentences with the TL that are true to them. T models the exercise with an example SS write the sentences T checks the sentences and gives feedback to each SS
