Main Aims

  • after this lesson they should have the ablity to explain the body clock and its functions .

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

everything we need at the first is a warmer stage because we want to engage and involve the student in to the work . so we choose a topic and some questions related to the text to make a speaking communication between students.

Pre-Reading/Listening (4-6 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

In this stage we want to prepare student's for a deep reading . the technic we are going to use is skiming the article , so the students are going to read the text quickly to find the best summary sentence for it.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

here in this level of the lesson we need deep reading by the students . this is the main part and student should focus on hardly . after this stage they are going to know the details of the text so well, if they take it serious enough .

POST READING 1 (6-8 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

there are some questions to gauge that how much students comprehend the text and howmuch did we successful in terms of reaching our goals .

PST READING 2 (4-6 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

like any other lesson plan and their stages we have to end our work with productive language skills such as writing or speaking . I choose speaking to end this lesson and make the students to produce the English language.
