Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Teacher introduce the topic and ask question from Ss "Can you choose your partner from an application ?"

Exposure (2-3 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Ss ask the question and discus about it .

Highlighting (2-3 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Write 2 questions and students make prediction about the listening .

Clarification (3-5 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Teacher sets first task- usually listening for gist. Students guess the answers and check them in group. Teacher sets second task- usually listening for detail. Check the meaning of Glossary word.

Controlled Practice (2-4 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

The students are going to do an exercise on page 9 individually. They will have 2 mins to answer the question and after that they will check their answer with the whole class.

Free Practice (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

The students will have 3 mins to talk about these questions " Do you think member of your family could choose a good date for you ?" " Do you think you could choose one for them ?". They will be given some feed back if needed at the end of the class.
