Procedure

Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

i will show them a picture and ask them what does he work? . then i will show them another pictures and ask them is she healthy? why?

Pre-speaking\Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

i will ask them to write what did they eat yeasterday? in this food diary. first i will make a demo with them then i will tell them to work inpairs ans ask each others what did you eat in breakfast , lunch , and dinner? then i will divide the class into four groups and they will ask eachothers and find if anything in common or no.

While-speakinh/Listening #1 (7-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information speaking/listening tasks

i will show them some pictures for cooking programes and ask them some questions. the i will ask them in pairs to think about this question"who can cook , men or women? why?. then they will tell their opinions in open pairs.

While-speaking/Listening #2 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference speaking/listening tasks

they will listen to the audio and answer the exercise then check their answers together. and i will give them feedback by puttinh the answer key.

Post-speaking/Listening (10-15 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

i will ask them to think of a famous dish from your country in groups and write the ingredients in a news papersheet and choose one representer from your group and tell us about the food that they write about it.
