In this lesson, students are going to learn about comparative and superlative Adj and how to properly use them through PPP . The lesson starts with introducing the two concepts .This is then continued by a small review on "Relatives relationship Vocab" and how to use either comparatives and/or superlatives in the mantioned environment .afterward the students will learn about the adjs that behave irregularly .Class will come to conclusion with some controlled practices through "fill the blanks". it's noteworthy to mention that "Relatives relationship vocab" was taught in prior session

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in & Exposure (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher talks about what adjs are and what are they used for ,then the teacher will introduce the comparative adjs and give few examples surrounding the family topic. The teacher then will ask Students to make 1-2 sentences using the same or other adjs . The same procedure will happen exactly in the same manner for the superlatives .

Highlighting (2-3 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Teacher will use the sentences which students made to draw everyone's attention to the Adjs that were used

Clarification (5-7 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

The teacher will talk about how Adjs transform based on the syllable or even irregularity .Students are asked to participate with filling the small gaps in what is being taught. the gaps are designed to make the students interact with the TL and keep them engaged . The teacher will emphasize on the pronunciation of "er" / "est" as well.

Controlled Practice (4-7 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Before the class ends ,the students will pair with a partner to answer the questions at the end of the PowerPoint which was presented by the teacher ,they'll have 4 minutes to answer the questions and then everyone will check their answers with the teacher
