Description
In this lesson students learn about different areas of a home and the activities that they can do at home.

To provide speaking practice in a conversation & questions in the context of Activities at home: wash my hair, play outside, sleep, eat dinner, play games
Procedure (49 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (0-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engreage students
Checking the students memory about areas at home. Areas of the home: garden, balcony, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room.
Listening #1 (0-4 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist information listening tasks
Students will listen to the songs and jump every time they hear Areas of the home.
While-Listening #2 (0-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference listening task
Students will play a guessing game and circle the areas of the home in the board. Students will listen and circle the areas of the home provided in the song.
Controlled practice (0-15 minutes) • students will practice writing and drawing areas of the home
Students will practice writing & drawing about Areas of the home: garden, balcony, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room.
free practice (15 minutes)
Students will imagine what they see from their balcony and draw it
