Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- Teacher shows students some photos of different situations and asks students to answer some questions in pairs - Students go to breakout rooms and asnwer the questions in pairs until they are finished or the time is over - Students return to the main session and the teacher provides OCFB

Text-work (8-10 minutes) • To provide context and expose students to the target language through a text or situation

-Teacher shares with students a small text about someone in a dangerous situation that is in the past. -Teacher asks students to read the text, answer some questions and underline the actions that are in past progressive with while. -Students work individually and then check the answers in pairs or groups -Students finish checking the answers and teacher performs OCFB

Language clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

-Teacher gives students some example sentences with the TL and asks students to put them in the correct group -Teacher shows the correct answers -Teacher uses the same same example sentences and CCQs to elicit the meaning and the form of the TL. -Teacher uses the same sentences to drill the correct pronunciation

Controlled practice (8-10 minutes) • To let students work with the TL in a controlled environment

-Teacher shares an exercise in google forms with the students -Students have to do a multiple choice fill-in the blanks activity with the TL -Students do the exercise individually and check the answers in groups or pairs when they are done -After the students finish checking their answers, the teacher performs OCFB

Freer practice (8-10 minutes) • To let students work with the TL more fluently

-Teacher shares a slide with the students. -In it, there is an exercise where the teacher asks students to write about a brief past dangerous situation they have been in with 50 to 60 words. -Teacher demonstrates with an example writing (done by him) -Students work individually on a google slides document. -When the time is up, the teacher performs OCFB

DEC (Delayed Error Correction) (3-5 minutes) • To correct any mistakes the leaner might have committed in the previous stages

T corrects mistakes made on previous stages and answers any doubts or questions students might have
