Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-4 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

1. The teacher introduces the video and asks the students to watch it and answer three questions: "What are the kids going to do?", "What clothes do they want to put on?" and "Why do they want to put on the clothes?". (Task 1, Student's Worksheet) 2. The teacher asks for some feedback

Exposure (4-4 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

1. The teacher divides the students in groups of 4. 2. The teacher draws the students' attention to the story in the worksheet (Task 2, Student's Worksheet) and asks the students to choose a role and read the story in groups. 3. Optional activity: the teacher asks some students to read to the rest of the class

Highlighting (2-2 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

The teacher highlights the target language on the board and asks what the difference is.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

1. The teacher elicits when we use possessive adjectives and when possessive pronouns. 2. The teacher asks to fill in the gaps in the rule (in Russian) (Task 3, Student's Worksheet) 3. The teacher asks two more pairs to present short dialogues with 2 other sets of pictures. 3. The students work in pairs and change their roles set by set.
