Warmer/Lead-in (5-8 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

1. Make a plan for tomorrow. 2. Exchange plans with your classmates. 3. Read each other's plans. 4. Ask each other questions about your plans. 5. Tell the teacher which plan do you think is the best!

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

1. Read the words in the box. 2. Listen to 3.1. 3. Which of the following topics do they not talk about? 4. Check your answers with a partner.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

1. Read sentences 1-8. 2. Read question 3A. 3. Listen to 3.1 again. 4. In pairs, complete the sentences from the listening. 5. Check your answers with another pair. 6. Share your answers with the teacher.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

1. Read the question in C. 2. In pairs, discuss the question. 3. Tell your teacher why do you think so?
