I will also write any other ingredients the Ss suggest. I am going to have an open-class discussion in order to listen to my Ss opinions. To begin, I will have a slide with an image of a pizza and toppings. Then, I will have an empty side where I will jot down any ideas from participating Ss.
I am going to play an audio where the students listen to a man talking about his job. This activity will help the students get a general idea about what the functional language will be about. The students will answer the following question: What does he like about it? Answer: working outside, travelling (South America and Australia), working with animals and plant life & learning new things. The students will work individually and then we will move to open class to share their answers.

During this part of the lesson, we are going to work on a controlled practice exercise. The Ss will work together in order for me to assess their knowledge and understanding of the functional language. They will do this by entering to the Forms survey via QR code or link. After this, we will come back to the main session and check answers together.
I am going to work with the students in groups and have them talk about what they like or dislike. I will share a wheel with the title 'Activities and Chores'. Students will then work in their groups in order to talk about certain activities or chores that they like or don't like. I will have them spin the wheel and a word will pop up. They will then take turns and formulate their sentences in order to answer correctly. I will be monitoring the BORs to check for any mistakes in their utterances. I am going to close the activity with a delayed error correction section where I will share with the Ss the mistakes they made while speaking to each other.
