Description

In this lesson students will focus on productive skills of writing.The context of the lesson is based on problems and how to solve it by writing the possible solutions and discuss the best one.

Materials

Abc Smart board, markers, speakers, touchstone book, copybook

Main Aims

  • Write a proposal presenting a solution to a problem.

Subsidiary Aims

  • Make the students write and express the problems they faced and how they found a solution.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Warm up I show the students a photo and they try to find the differences in it individually, orally and 5 minutes. How may times do you gave ? 5 Will you answer orally or in sheet of paper? orally Will you answer individually or in a sheet if paper? individually.

Contextualising (3-5 minutes)

I tell the students to read this paragraph and tell me: “What is the main problem in the text?” in groups, orally and in 2 minutes. Are you going to answer individually or in groups? Modelling (8-10 minutes)

I ask the students to read the test again to gather accurate information. Joint Construction

I will show the students a table of some words to use them to give me their ideas about the proposal solution and to explain how the solution will be implemented to complete the third and second paragraph in groups, in a sheet of paper and in 10 minutes and I write their ideas on the board. Independent Constructions

I tell the ss we will play an activity "Rally table" that I divided them in pairs in 10m partner A and partner B I tell the topic they will write on "problems that the school or community is currently facing". and I give them time to think partner A write the problem in a sheet of paper and give it to partner B and he writes some solutions and give it back to partner A and discuss the solutions with each other to find the best solution. Comparing

I tell the students they will do " A gallery walk" in 10m and I tell them to write any sudden problem they faced before on a sticky note without writing their names and they stand up in groups and write their solutions about each problem and they discuss all solutions with each other.
