T will instruct that Ss have 1 minute to discuss this in breakout rooms. T will demo what is expected of the students- Share opinion about chocolate and debt cancellation. T will ask: Do you have any questions? T will send Ss into breakout rooms of 2-3 Ss to discuss, meanwhile T will observe each breakout room to monitor. T will bring Ss back to the main group. T will call on 2 students by name to ask them what they shared or what a partner shared in their breakout room.

Text work (7-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T will share screen of slide with a chart for students to see what is being discussed. T will instruct S to listen to the audio and to take notes on the topic each person addresses and what his/her opinion is. T will demo with the first recording. T- "Do you have any questions?" T will play the rest of the audio. T will elicit answers from the students to fill in at least 2 others of the rows in the chart. T will show answer key and ask if there are any questions. T will introduce phrases used to talk about opinions, but Ss will have to match the beginning of each phrase to the end of the phrase. T will demo first example. T will elicit these answers from students.

Language Clarification (12-14 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

T will share screen with students to show google forms which will help them to analyze meaning and answer questions about form. T will demo one question from meaning, and one question from form. T will ask if there are any questions. T will share link and send Ss to breakout rooms. T will monitor to ensure Ss stay on track and an to answer questions as needed. T will bring students back when finished for OCFB and review of answers. After Meaning and form, T will model each phrase then elicit identification of different parts of pronunciation- like stress, intrusive sounds, linking, weak forms, and intonation. T will have the students drill each phrase chorally and ask individuals to drill the phrases as well.
