Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The best lead-in for this topic is "Two Truths and A Lie" T gives Instructions " When it's your turn, you need to tell the group two things that are true about yourself and one lie" "Give a chance to the other students to guess which sentence is the lie, then tell them the lie" "try to make it hard to guess." ICQs " how many truths will you say? How many lies?" Ss take turns. Then T asks Ss " Tell me something interesting that you knew about your mates in the game." as feedback.

Pre-Listening (3-5 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T asks questions After the lead-in " In the previous game, Did you notice any body language that helped you to know the lie? " How do you know if a person is lying?" T Pre-teaches vocabulary "Brain, psychologist" T presents a picture and Asks Ss to guess the liars and mention why.

While-Listening #1 (4-5 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

-T introduces the listening telling Ss " we are going to listen to an interview with Dr. Miriam Richards, who is an expert in body language, To check your answers." -Ss listen, then Think-Pair-Shar. After that, They check answers using the answer key. -T asks Ss if they want to ask about anything.

T highlights the keywords in the questions to prepare Ss for the listening. Ss listen again, answer alone, then check in pairs. T asks if they want to listen again. Ss will listen again if they need, or they check from the Answer Key.

Post-Reading/Listening (6-8 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

-T passes HO2 and gives Ss instructions "think about these questions alone and prepare your ideas. You have one minute." "work in pairs. Discuss these questions with your partner and try to convince him/her with your point of view." - Content feedback. "which question did you discuss? What did you agree to?" -Language Feedback." If Ss make any mistakes while speaking, T writes them on the board, writes one correct sentence, and discusses them with Ss.
