To provide clarification of daily activities in our houses in the context of house chores
To provide fluency speaking practice in a converstion in the context of daily house chores
Procedure (8-15 minutes)
In this part the teacher will start talking about how she was busy at home with all the chores and then by showing a couple of pictures illustrating different house chores, the students will be asked to share with the WC which of them do they like or hate.
In this section, in order to absorb the students' attention , they will be asked to match some phrases to the picture shown in the previous stage and at the end all the answers will be checked .
In this part , the new phrases written on the book will be clarified for the students through body language and pictures used in the fist stage.
In this stage, the students need to do the gap filling controlled practice of their own books and then the answers will be checked in the WC.
In this part, a discussion subject will be introduced by the teacher in order to give each student to talk about the daily activities they do at home or even the chores their other members of family do. In this case, they can learn how and where to use the new phrases and also they can work on their fluency in speaking.
