Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Show Ss a picture of a woman who won a million dollars, and ask them how much did she win? then ask Ss What they suggest she does with the money? I will give them 1 minute to think and we will discuss it as a whole class.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Provide the ss with GS link so they can have access to the slides and divide them according to the number of slides. Ask them to read the questions and then play a recording for them. After that, they will use the chat to discuss their answers with a partner for 2-3 minutes After they finish, we discuss the answers together.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Tell the students that they are going to listen again to the dialogue, so they can be able to fill in the blanks with the correct words/phrases. Ss will use GS to answer this task ask them to over the text quickly and then play the recording. After they finish, we will discuss answers together.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

After the students have done the detailed listing task, I will ask them to tell me the expression they put in the blanks. I will write them on a slide and ask them what these sentences indicate to elicit answers that cover the meaning of these function expressions. This stage should be done as a whole class. For appropriacy, I will share a GF link where Ss are given different situations and they have to choose the proper ways of giving suggestions based on the people in each situation. They will have 2-3 minutes to answer and then I will put them in BORs for 2 minutes to discuss answers and then submit them before we do it as a whole class. For pronunciation, I will nominate each student with a slide and ask them to listen to me while reading out each sentence they have to underline the stressed words of each sentence and discuss their answers with them also I will ask them to practice pronunciation individually.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

In this stage, I will use a more interactive way to answer the questions and I will ask Ss to scan the barcode they will be given on the screen and enter the game with their names.
