While-Reading #1 (8-9 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading tasks

I will present the reading on a google document, but the paragraphs will be out of order. I will task the students with organizing the paragraphs in the correct order by themselves, and then give the story a title. I will ask the students to send me a private message with their answer. The paragraphs will be numbered so that I can elicit the answers from the students quicker and give feedback together as a class (6-7 minutes), where we will also share some titles for the story (2 minutes).

While-Reading #2 (12-14 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading tasks

I will give the Ss a set of questions to answer about the text. Questions will be T/F and multiple choice and I will present them by sharing my screen. Ss will be given time to look over the question before I present the reading to them in the correct order and ask the students to answer the questions individually.
