T gives SS Exercise#1 and asks them to do it in pairs. (paper is folded, the answers are on the other half of the paper). Then T asks them to check their answers.
There is a photo of a thermometer on the board. T pick up one temperature word (like hot) and asks SS where she can put it. Then pick other words one by one and asks SS to come and place it on the thermometer.
T gives SS Exercise#2 handouts and asks them to do it in pairs. (The paper is folded and the answers are on the other half of the paper). Then T asks SS to unfold the paper and check the answers.
Two maps of Istanbul is on the board. T have SS in two groups and give each group a weather report. They have to complete the map with weather symbols, according to the report. The group who finishes sooner is the winner. To prevent them from cheating, it is better to play music in the background.
SS are given a piece of paper, on which there are a table and a few questions. T asks SS to walk in the class and interview their classmates, using the questions on the worksheets. They have to collect some information about the kind of weather their classmates like and then suggest them a country to which they can travel and they will enjoy. They are going to chose a country from the table on the paper. As a follow up T asks WC about their suggestions and asks why they suggest that.
T corrects the mistakes(if there were any) SS made during speaking practice. T writes the mistakes on the board and asks SS to correct them.
