Procedure

Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • to generate interests, and have smooth way to get into the target language.

showing them a picture of Ahmed Helmy, students have to have a small discussion about him and about the different actresses who have played the roles of his girlfriends in some movies. they have to see the pictures, think, pair, and then share their ideas in open class feedback.

Pre-Reading/Listening (7-9 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

some pictures will be shown and Ss have to guess what the words are, the words (dark hair, red hair, fair hair, exhibition, and museum) are going to be displayed. I will ensure they get the meaning, written, and spoken form of each word by ccq- ing them after the unfamiliar words for them.

While-Reading #1 (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading tasks

Students will be asked to read the passage and try to find answers for two focus questions; 1: what is the main idea of the passage. 2. what is the best title for the given passage. then in groups, they will discuss the answers to the focus questions and then open class feedback will be conducted.

While-Reading2 (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

Students will be asked to read the questions of exercise 5, page 23 in 20 seconds, then re-read the passage and try to find answers to the questions. They will discuss their answers in pairs and then share them in an open class.

Post-Reading/Listening (17-20 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

students will relate the context to their real lives. In pairs, they will discuss the types of girls/men they like. (4- 5 minutes) Speaking: (question time, page 23) (13-15 minutes) students will play find someone who. content and language feedback are going to be discussed.
