Procedure (30-43 minutes)
Personalize a news presenter, who is telling the audience about, the national and international situations.
As a pre-teach, I will elicit the meaning of the main words in bold from the students, then model and drill them and highlight form and stress on the w/b and with different colors.
Students will a handout and instruction to listen to T9-1 to 9-10 to match the lists A & B. Then I will demonstrate the first two to them. In pairs, students check and negotiate their answers.
Ss will be given the words of the vocabulary on folded papers, then one by one then unfold the paper and read the word on it, if the word goes with the up row students stand tel he/she give a full meaningful sentence, then the activity goes on.
Students can choose from the vocabulary and they will be provided with ideas to create situations and tell each other about them.
