Copy of Weather Vocabulary Lesson
Elementary A1 level

Description

In this lesson, Ss will revise and learn a new lexical set related to weather. The lesson will begin with an image of Europe's weather forecast of the day. The T will elicit vocabulary from the Ss, revising what they already know. Ss will then read a text about weather in Ohio, which introduces the new lexical set. Ss will complete two self-guided meaning activities before clarification and pronunciation work in the open class. Following this, Ss will complete a controlled practice gap-fill activity about weather in different parts of the world. Then, Ss will do flashcard review of vocabulary in pairs. The lesson will conclude with a freer practice activity, asking Ss to talk about the weather today in different world cities.
