Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will ask Ss to discuss the following question: *How did you feel last New Year's Eve? *How do you feel when you have a busy day? Then, I will nominate 2 or 3 learners to express their answers.

Exposure (3-5 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

I will ask Ss to listen to my story and say how do I feel. Then, I will send Ss a GoogleForms to type their answers. I will show their answers on my screen. Then, I will conduct OCFB.

Highlighting (2-3 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

I will say: Here's the text I readout. Look at the words in bold. What kind of words are they? (Students: Adjectives / Extreme Adjectives.)

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

MEANING: I will ask Ss some CCQs to identify meaning and also show them two pictures so they can compare a normal and an extreme adjective. FORM: (It was elicited from the text.) PRONUNCIATION: 1. I will ask Ss to classify the extreme adjectives according to their stress and syllables). 2. I will ask Ss to drill the words individually and chorally.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

I will Ss to complete sentences with the correct extreme adjective on Wordwall. (Individually) I will ask Ss to work in pairs via BORs while I monitor. Then, I will provide OCFB by showing their positions on Wordwall and check if they have any questions.

Free Practice (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I will ask Ss to work in pairs and choose two situations in order to react to them using the target language. I will monitor and take notes of their mistakes. Then, I will conduct OCFB and DEC.
