Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T reminds Ss with the previous lesson by mentioning the name of the people in the text

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

T play video and provide Ss with papers to answer the questions. Ss do nom 1a + b .

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

T checks Ss answers for the previous questions, if there's any lack of information Asking ccqs we Use a relative clause when giving important information about a person, place, or thing. Use who for people, which for things, and where for places. 1.He needed the lucky shirt which he had given away. What the thing was given away ? does he talk about a person ? 2. He's the player who has the world record for scoring most goals. Does it talk about a person or a thing ? on board T clarifies the usage and structure by using MFP

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

Ss do 2+3+4+5 check in pairs and provide the answer keys to them

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Ss create definitions for six words they have learnt during the year and then other guessing the word
