To provide product writing practice of a short paragraph using present continuous in the context of technology emphasized on videogames and apps
To provide fluency speaking and lexis building practice.
Procedure (44-58 minutes)
Teacher wil play the game two truths and a lie about techonology (apps and video games), then have the student to write his own two truths and a lie, and have someone to guess the lie.
T will project the question "how does technology help us?" attached with some pictures related to some benefits that technology bring. Students will look at the pictures and describe them.
T will show the next slide with the descriptions from each picture, then, T will ask students to brainstorm more benefits from technology. Students will list, at least 5 more benefits.
-T will tell student that he is going to write a short paragraph about technology, then, proceeds to demonstrate. -T will monitor student while he performs the task.
Once student finishes writing the text, he will read out loud what the wrote, then T will check and mark with a symbology table, then student will self analyze any grammar or syntax mistakes.
