Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students and make the students aware of the fact that they should listen to news to be familiar with current affairs.

What was the recent news you heard about environmental issues? students will be volunteer to talk about the topic

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

The students will be provided with matching vocabulary and they should also group them together.

brain-storming (8-10 minutes) • to provide an opportunity for the students to produce ideas based on the topic.

the topic will be presented and Ss use the language to talk about the topic. they will also be some useful languages to discuss their agreement and disagreement.

noticing (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to notice the criteria for analyzing the question

1. they will be provided with the rubric and Ss should high light the criteria that should be considered in order to response. 2. three different introductions will be given to help the students to differentiate what could be right and what could be wrong.

Production • students will write their own introduction

A new rubric will be given for analysis and response.

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

their introduction will be taped on the wall to be corrected by their classmates and teacher
