Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

-Students watch a video about the use of CAN -Ss pay attention to use, meaning, forma and pronunciation -T explains and elicits questions -Ss ask questions and gives examples of CAN

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

-T presents a game to review the topic -Learners put into practice the information acquired in the video -T clarifies any doubt students might have -Learners take a practice quiz to check their understanding -Learners reflect on their learning

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks
